(Re)Mind Your Body - Eye Function June 25 2016
 -
Dry eyes, tired eyes, don't want to wear specs? or know someone like that?

The last Feldenkrais Movement Workshop before the summer break is to help your Eye Function.
You will take away practical strategies for crises and long-term improvement.

David Webber teaching a class

This workshop draws on David Webber's great programme of Feldenkrais-based eye lessons. I met him and heard him speak in Vienna - and he was inspirational. Norman Doidge's The Brain's Way of Healing: Remarkable Discoveries and Recoveries from the Frontiers of Neuroplasticity contains a chapter on David Webber's work.

David's is a 'physician heal thyself' story, having experienced catastrophic eye disease and damage, and rehabilitated himself.   You can buy his programme as well as doing some free online and read his article here:

The 4 hour practical workshop is suitable for both newcomers to Feldenkrais and old friends of it. The Feldenkrais Method® offers effective, user friendly exercises that surprise and illuminate! Classes engage the brain's plasticity to bring about improvements in the body's comfort and function.
